Our representative will pick you up from the Airport with putting garland on your neck which traditionally means you are welcome. Then you will be driven to the hotel. After refresh you will be briefed either hotel or at our office for your trip. At last if you will have time you can roam around at Thamel market.
Khopra Danda Trek
Day 01 Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal.
Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek preparation.
After breakfast around 9 am a tour guide with vehicle come to your hotel to do sight seen in Kathmandu valleys world heritage sites including Pashupatinath ( One of the biggest Hindu temple with cremation center), Boudhanath (One of the biggest Stupa), Swayambhunath calls monkey temple as well and Patan Durbar square (An old palace with ancient art and architect).
Day 03 Drive to Pokhara by deluxe tourist bus about 7 hours.
After breakfast at Hotel we leave for Pokhara. While driving we follow villages and Trishuli River until mid part of the driving journey. Trishuli is famous for white water rafting as well. Then again drive flat till Pokhara by passing small cities.
Day 04 Pokhara to Tadapani about 3 hours drive and 4 hours hike.
Journey will start after breakfast by having private car, jeep or bus direct to Kimche. Then we start trek to Tadapani only for 4 hour gradually up to Tadapani. Tadapani a good viewpoint from where can see Annapurna South and Himhuli and fishtail clearly.
Day 05 Trek from Tadapani to Dobato having lunch in Isaru about 5 hours.
Now very few people entre toward ridge of Dobato, which literally means junction of two road where few hotels and under operation during peak season time, we need to confirm before heading from Tadapani. Magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and South Annapurna is major attraction of Dobato, where peace and calm accompanied entire area of Dobato.
Day 06 Trek from Dobato to Khopra danda about 7 hours.
Today we further enter inside dense ridge of Khopra via forest full of juniper and other trees with tropical bushes line. It is totally into the wild with few marks on tree as a signal to identify the trail if you are on your own, although it is not recommended to trek on your own especially during off-season periods where there is less mark on the trail and covered by snow in winter and high bushes on rainy season time.
Day 07 Visit Khayer Lake (4,650m) and return back 8 hours.
After early morning breakfast start trek to Khayer Lake. The view en-route to lake is more beautiful and mesmerizing. You will carry your lunch pack and water. Return back to hotel for overnight stay at Khopra Danda.
Day 08 Trek from Khopra danda to Swanta about 6 hours.
It takes an hour of descent to get back down to Upper Chistibung community lodge; it is worth stopping for drink then carries on down to Swanta village. Along the way we got more views of Mount Dhaulagiri with this mountain providing a lovely backdrop to the terraced fields and traditional houses in the nearby villages. At Swanta village it is worth visiting Swanta Primary school where there are two teachers funded by the profits from the community lodges.
Day 09 Trek from Swanta to Ghorepani about 4 hours.
An hour or so after leaving Swanta village we join the main trail to Ghorepani where there are of course far more others trekkers making one appreciate the quieter days walking along the Kopra Ridge.
Day 10 Sunrise hike to Poon Hill and trek down to Tikhedhunga then drive to Pokhara 5 hours trek and 3 hour drive.
Early morning start today as you hike one hour up to Poon Hill (3,210m). This hill is famous for its sunrise views of the Annapurna range. The glowing mountains are superb for photographers. After about one hour we will walk back down to the lodge at Ghorepani. After breakfast we will start the trek to Tikhedhunga which is all the way down about 1,000m by 3,200 stone steps. Then we take a jeep to board Pokhara.
Day 11 Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, about 7 hours.
We leave Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu. Once back at your hotel you can relax or go explore the maze of souvenir shops in Thamel.
Day 12 Fly back to home Country.
Fly back to home country. Our agency’s representative will put you Khada (a kind of cloth which use to wear on your neck). Wearing Khada means good luck and protection. And drop you to the airport. See you next time.
