FAQ
When is the best time to climb the Himlung Himals?
The best time to undertake the Himlung Expedition is during the pre-monsoon (spring) and post-monsoon (autumn) seasons.
Spring (April to May): This season offers stable weather, moderate temperatures, and blooming rhododendrons, making it a popular time for climbing.
Autumn (September to November): Clear skies, stable weather, and excellent visibility make this the best time for mountaineering in Nepal.
Winter and monsoon seasons are generally not recommended due to extreme cold, heavy snowfall, and potential for avalanches.
