Yes. All visitors (except from India) need a visa. You must get it through a tour company like us. We will get your visa for you.
What is the best time to visit Bhutan?
The best times are spring (March to May) and fall (September to November). The weather is clear and mild. Many festivals happen during these months.
Can I travel independently in Bhutan?
No. The government requires all tourists to book a full package. You must have a guide. We plan all parts of your trip for you.
How much is the Bhutan tourist fee?

You must fly to the main airport in Paro (PBH). Only two airlines, Drukair and Bhutan Airlines, fly there. Flights come from cities like Kathmandu, Delhi, and Bangkok.

Yes. Bhutan is one of the safest countries in the world. It has a very low crime rate. It is safe for all travelers, including solo women.
What money should I bring?
Bring US Dollars. You can change them for the local money, the Ngultrum. Indian Rupees (INR) are also accepted in most places.
Can I use credit cards or ATMs?
Do not rely on them. Big hotels and some shops in Thimphu may take credit cards. Most small shops and markets only take cash. ATMs often do not work with foreign cards.
What is the food like?
Bhutanese food is simple. They eat a lot of rice and vegetables. The national dish is Ema Datshi, which is chilies and cheese. We can request milder food for you.
Is there a dress code for tourists?
Yes, when visiting temples, dzongs (forts), and monasteries. You must cover your shoulders and knees. You also must remove your hat. Casual clothes are fine for other places.
Do I need special shots or vaccines?
No special shots are required for Bhutan. Your routine vaccines should be up to date. Ask your doctor for the best medical advice.
What should I pack?
Pack in layers. The weather can change fast. Bring warm clothes, a rain jacket, and good walking shoes. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also important.
What power plugs are used in Bhutan?
Bhutan uses 230V power. The sockets are type C, D, and G. These are the same plugs used in India and the UK. Bring a universal travel adapter.
