    About Trip

    Lhasa EBC Tour and Trek : This tour will offer magnificent views of the fantastic Himalayas including Mount Everest.  Be Enchanted by this far-flung land with its unique culture, extensive open spaces, decorated, temples and monasteries.

    We will begin the trip sightseeing in Lhasa and then go around stunning Potala as well as Norbulingka Palaces which are built in the 17th century. The famous Potala Palace, the personal quarters of the Dalai Lama, will offer a view of the entire city.  Visit Drepung Monastery built around the 14th century, said to have protected approximately 10,000 monks in the past. Sera Monastery is another conserved monastery with white-washed walls as well as golden roofs.

    We will visitJokhang Temple, a sacred place which consists of deeper secrecy of Tibetan Buddhism. We stroll all the way through Barkhor Bazaar, the centre of Lhasa. Today, we will drive to Gyantse. En route, we will go by the Khamba La Pass lying at 4,794m. Here we can see the splendour of the Yamdrok Tso (Lake) which is counted among the three major holy lakes in Tibet and the striking glacier, Nazin Kang Sang.

    Next, it’s through another pass, the Karo La Pass (5,045m). We visit the Everest Base Camp (5,250m). On the way, enjoy views of grand mountains likeShishapangma (8,013m),Cho Oyu (8,201m)and the massiveEverest (8,848m)also identified as Mt. Chomolongma lying on the Tibetan side. Reach the base camp of Mt. Everest which is dry and desolate.
