Where is Kailash Mansarovar??
Mount Kailash, the highly respected peak in Asia which is located in the far west of Tibet. It stands tall at 6,638 meters (21,778 feet) and is part of the Kailash Range. Tibetans call it Kangrinboqué. Mansarovar is one of the beautiful lakes and is situated about 4,590 meters (15,059 feet). It is considered as the highest freshwater lake in the world.
What are the risks in Kailash Mansarovar?
The main risks involved during the Kailash Mansarovar are altitude sickness and extreme cold temperatures. Also sometimes bad weather which can cause heavy snowfall, rainfall can cause trouble during the journey.
Why don't people climb Kailash?
Hindus believe it’s forbidden to trek to the peak of Mount Kailash because they fear it might disrupt the mountain’s sacredness and disturb the divine spirits believed to reside there.

Which is the best time to visit Mt. Kailash Mansarovar?
You can go to Kailash Mansarovar anytime from mid-April to the end of September. But the best times are from April to June and September. During these months, you can see the mountains clearly, enjoy beautiful views, and have nice weather. We don’t recommend it during the winter and the monsoon season due to unstable and bad weather conditions.
Where do I need to Apply for a Chinese Visa to go to the Kailash Mansarovar Trip??
Any foreigner entering Tibet needs to have a Chinese visa. Third Eye Adventure will arrange all the required visas and permits for you.
Is the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra challenging?
The quick answer is yes. Due to challenging altitude, steep slopes and large distances that need to be covered it is not as easy as you think. But if you prepare well by being physically and mentally fit then you can overcome these difficulties easily.
