It is a special visa for tourists entering Tibet from Nepal. We must apply for it in Kathmandu. It is a paper document for the whole group.
Can I use my 10-year China visa?
No. If you enter from Nepal, your individual China visa will be cancelled. You must use the China Group Visa.
How hard is this tour?
This is an easy cultural tour. There is no trekking. The only challenge is the high altitude in Lhasa (3,650m).

It is a feeling of sickness in high places. You may get a headache, feel tired, or have trouble sleeping. Our trip gives you time to rest and adjust.
How can I prevent altitude sickness?
Drink 3-4 liters of water every day. Do not drink alcohol. Walk slowly. Your first day in Lhasa is for rest.
What is the flight to Lhasa like?
It is one of the best flights in the world. It is about 1 hour. Sit on the right side of the plane for the best views of Mount Everest.

The best time is from April to October. The weather is clear. The flight to Lhasa is less likely to be cloudy.
