Best Time for the Annapurna Panorama Trek

Choosing the right season is key for clear views. The autumn and spring months have the best weather for this trek.

    • Autumn (September - November): This is the best time to go. The skies are clear and blue, offering sharp views of the high peaks. The weather is stable and pleasant, which makes for perfect walking conditions.
    • Spring (March - May): This is the second-best time. The weather is warm, and the hills are alive with color. The famous rhododendron forests on this trail are in full bloom with red and pink flowers.

A Typical Day on Your Trek

    • Morning: Your day usually starts around 7:00 AM. You will have a good breakfast at the teahouse. Then, you will start walking with your guide around 8:00 AM.
    • Trekking: The pace is always relaxed and steady. The daily walks are shorter than on more difficult treks. You will walk for about 3-4 hours before lunch.

    • Afternoon: You will walk for another 2-3 hours to reach the next village. You will have plenty of free time in the afternoon to explore or relax.
    • Evening: You can read a book or chat with your guide and other trekkers. Dinner is served around 7:00 PM in the warm dining hall. Your guide will tell you about the plan for the next day.
