    Pike Peak Trekking is a marvelous country to enjoy fabulous views and the panorama of the high Central and Eastern Himalaya range of massive mountains that includes famous peaks of Langtang, Jugal, Gaurishankar, Melung-Tse with Mt. Everest as far as Mt. Makalu in the far eastern horizon.

In springtime, Pike Peak turns into paradise when wild-flowers are in bloom with the national flower the rhododendron of various species from tall trees to bushes, a trek of great beauty and charm visiting local rural farm villages within rolling green hills and valley with ever-present views of high white snow-capped peaks.

    Scenic Pike Peak Trek with various routes to reach the highest spot of the adventure at above 4,065 m/13, 414 ft high, Third Eye Treks and Expedition have designed and set the itinerary to make the best of wonderful views and to explore local cultures of great immense interest. Starts with an exciting overland journey from Kathmandu to reach the eastern region of Dolkha and Ramechap areas past the nice town of Jiri, often known as the Switzerland of Nepal where you notice green valleys and high hills with lovely woodland in the shade of high Gaurishankar Himal.

    From Jiri drive continues over a dirt road to reach at nice valley of Shivalaya where the walk begins heading due east through many farm villages and well-tended fields and terraces then on remote and far from main trails and villages to reach the base of Pike Peak. Walk starts early morning to catch the sunrise over a panorama of a high snow-capped mountain range amid an enchanting forest of tall tree lines, enjoy amazing views of high mountains with towering Mt. Everest.

    After an enjoyable time on the highest top of the adventure return journey takes you downhill within farm villages to reach at Sherpa village of Phaplu where the next early morning scenic short flight brings you back to Kathmandu, with mesmerizing experience and adventure on Scenic Pikey Hill Trekking.

    Best Time to Go

    For the best experience, plan your trip in spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November).

    • Spring: The weather is warm and stable. The hills are full of color from the blooming rhododendron flowers.
    • Autumn: The skies are clear and give you the best mountain views. The weather is cool and great for trekking.

    Route and Elevation

    This trek is a journey into the lower Everest region. The trip starts with a long drive from Kathmandu to the town of Dhap. From there, you begin your walk into the hills. The trail takes you through small villages and deep forests to the base of Pikey Peak.

    The trek's main goal is to reach the top of Pikey Peak at 4,065 meters. From the peak, you get a wide view of mountains from the Annapurna to Everest ranges. The walk down takes you through different villages before a final drive back to Kathmandu.

    You will stay in local teahouses. The rooms are basic but comfortable, giving you a chance to see the local way of life.
