The Annapurna Panorama View Trek is one of the shortest and most easy treks you will ever experience in your life. It is a trek that will be etched in your memory for a lifetime. The hike is straightforward to complete and is suitable for everyone from elderly people to young children. As far as fitness is concerned, it is not too demanding and is a very comfortable hike as well as an adventure. 

Your trip will start from the beautiful city of Pokhara and end at Poon hill (3,210 m). On your endpoint at Poon hill, you’ll see a beautiful Sunrise and scenic view of the Annapurna Range, which is breathtaking. 

On the first day of your trial, you’ll drive to Pokhara enjoying the scenic view of the Trishuli river and passing through small, beautiful villages, where you’ll spend the night. A day in Pokhara is an adventure lover's dream come true. It is an ideal destination for all kinds of adventures. You can wander around the lakeside and enjoy the laidback atmosphere of Pokhara before going on the trek the next day.

Next day, you’ll take a short hike from Hile and stay your night at Ulleri — a tiny village from where you can see Annapurna South and Himchuli. 

After a day of trekking, you'll enjoy the blossom and amazing scenery of the Rhododendron on your way to Ghorepani. Rhododendrons turn a bright red/pink color in spring, which contrasts with all colors in the surrounding area, giving a pleasant vibe.

Following that, you'll find your way to Ghandruk, the biggest Gurung settlement where you'll be greeted by the best Gurung community. You will gain a great deal of insight into their culture, values, and importance. The trip will then take you back to Kimche from Ghandruk and back to Pokhara where we'll spend the night and return back to Kathmandu, bringing back our adventurous memory.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01 Drive to Pokhara by deluxe tourist bus - 7 hours.

    We begin our journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara after taking a short break at our hotel for breakfast. Then, we'll then drive to Pokhara and enjoy our stay there. On our midway, we'll see the beautiful sight of the Trishuli river which is famous for rafting.

  • Day 02 Pokhara to Ulleri drive - 2 hours and hike - 3 hours.

    Our journey will begin shortly after breakfast, with a private car, jeep, or bus taking us directly to Hile. Then we'll start our trek to Ulleri, only a 3-hour walk from Tikhedhunga, with stunning views of Annapurna South and Himchuli along the way. Ulleri is a tiny village nestled between these two magnificent peaks and the perfect place to start our exploration of this beautiful trek.

  • Day 03 Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani - 6 hour.

    After a delicious breakfast in Ulleri, we head out on the stone-paved path up to Banthali. The journey is a bit steep, but the views are stunning. We slowly descend through oak and rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani. In spring, the rhododendrons are in bloom and turn the forests into a sea of red and pink. It's an unforgettable sight!

  • Day 04 Trek from Ghorepani to Ghandruk - 7 hours.

    The trek today starts early in the morning as we hike for one hour up Poon Hill (3,210m) which is known as the Annapurna Panorama view. This hill is famous for its sunrise views of the Annapurna region. The glowing mountains are superb for photographers. After about one hour we will walk back down to the lodge at Ghorepani. After breakfast, we will start the trek to Ghorepani. A steep uphill walk to the village of Deurali will offer more spectacular views of the mountains. On our way to the river, we pass through more rhododendron forests. Crossing the bridge we head up to the village of Tadapani then all the way two hours down to Ghandruk to rest for the evening.

  • Day 05 Trek from Ghandruk to Kimche - 1 hour and drive Back to Pokhara - 3 hours.

    Our journey begins with a walk from Ghandruk to Kimche which takes approximately one hour, and then we'll take a jeep to Pokhara. It will take 3 hours to drive there. When we arrive in Pokhara, we will have the opportunity to visit some more places around the city. We can explore more of this beautiful place before leaving back to Kathmandu city for departure.

  • Day 06 Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus - 7 hours.

    After a restful night's sleep in Pokhara, we wake up fresh after breakfast and head drive back to Kathmandu. The journey is relatively short, and soon we're back in the capital city. Once back at your hotel you can relax or go explore the maze of souvenir shops in Thamel.
