It also offers a unique cultural experience, taking you through vibrant villages and Buddhist monasteries.

Despite its stunning beauty and remote location, the Manaslu Circuit Trek is still much less crowded than other more popular trekking routes, such as Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit. It’s worth the extra effort to get there as there are still only a fraction of the trekkers you’ll find in more well-known treks.

The trailhead to Manaslu Circuit is easily accessible by land and doesn’t need any domestic flights. We’ll travel along the Budi Gandaki, a long and deep stream that will give you spectacular views of the surrounding landscape as you cross many suspension bridges.

You’ll also be able to enjoy a unique cultural experience as you traverse through the vibrant villages, interact with the locals, and explore the many Buddhist monasteries. As a bonus, there are teahouses at daily stages, so trekkers don’t need to worry about bringing tents or food. This makes the trek more accessible and affordable than other similar treks.

Manaslu Circuit Trek promises an unforgettable experience for both new and experienced trekkers. It’s a great opportunity to connect with nature and explore the untouched beauty of the. From the gorgeous scenery to the remote wilderness and the friendly locals to the incredible summit, of Manaslu, this trek will be an unforgettable journey.

Summary of Manaslu Circuit Trekking

Each day of trekking promises a unique experience as we traverse through stunning landscapes and witness the beauty of nature. Whether it’s the lush forests, roaring rivers, or the spectacular views of the mighty Manaslu Mountain, you’re sure to be in awe of the region’s majestic beauty. With the help of our experienced and knowledgeable guide, we will make our way through the Manaslu region, exploring the villages and trying out the local cuisine.

Mainly during the trek, you will be staying at the local teahouses operated by the local communities along the trek. Manaslu Circuit Trek Accommodation is pretty basic in service but very convenient. These teahouses have a common place for dining and relaxing, which is a great place to stay warm around the fire at night.

As for food and accommodations, While you are at the lower elevation, you can typically find a single room with an attached bathroom and hot shower. As you ascend, the level of service and amenities decreases. You can expect a single room with an attached bathroom at lower altitudes. The room will have two single beds, a mattress, a pillow, and a cozy blanket. These lower altitudes offer hot showers, electricity, western-style commode toilets, and Wi-Fi. You can also choose between single, double, or dorm-style rooms.

As you ascend higher, you will have to settle for twin-sharing rooms with basic Asian-style squat toilets. In peak trekking season, you may even find yourself sleeping in the dining room due to overcrowding. In some cases, even basic facilities like electricity might require you to pay a fee. Wi-Fi is usually available throughout the trek, but it may be unreliable. Also, Mobile networks may not be available at higher altitudes.

Moreover, you can expect to find various food items on the trek. From the staple rice, lentils, and vegetable curry to western spaghetti, pizza, and other snacks like biscuits, chocolate, and instant noodles, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.

The good news is that meat is not forbidden at high altitudes, though we strongly advise against it. Since meat is high in protein, it is difficult to digest and can affect your energy levels, adversely affecting your performance. Therefore, trekkers should stick to vegetarian meals to maintain their energy levels.

It is also important to remember that the digestion of food is slower at high altitudes, so it is best to stick to light meals and snacks that are easy to digest. This includes foods like crackers, nuts, and fruits. Additionally, try to stay hydrated by drinking lots of fluids, as this can help to improve digestion and support your performance.

What To Expect From a Manaslu Circuit Trekking

On the Manaslu Circuit Trekking, you’ll be able to experience many unique sights and experiences. You’ll be surrounded by some of the highest mountains on earth.

The locals we meet throughout the journey are descendants of native Tibetans who have been living there since the 1600s. Spending time with these locals will give you an insight into their culture, language, and dress, similar to those found in Tibet. There is a certain charm and beauty in their traditional way of life that has remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

The final highlight of the trek is crossing the high and windy Larkya La Pass (5,100 meters). Here, you get to witness some of the most magnificent views of the Himalayas. The journey to the La pass is a tough but rewarding one that tests your physical strength and endurance.

I recently experienced the amazing Manaslu Circuit Trek and I absolutely loved it! Not only did I have the opportunity to explore some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, but I also earned some incredible memories with the friendly locals I encountered along the way. The circuit trek is fairly challenging yet highly rewarding, with many ups and downs reaching up to 16,000 feet in elevation. I was especially impressed with the scenery throughout the trip, as the mountains, forests, and valleys were absolutely stunning. On my journey, I also had the chance to learn about the ancient culture of the people living in the region, which was a true delight.
