The Lobuche Peak gives an ultimate Himalayan peak climbing experience. Indulge in the mystique of the highest place in the world. The Khumbu (Everest) region is full of surprises and the Lobuche Peak Climb demonstrates that. Around every corner of this journey, another crisp mountain view awaits you. The excursion brings you not only to the top of the majestic Lobuche Peak (6,119 meters), but you will also visit the legendary Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, which is said to have the best Everest view in the region.

The summit view from the peak of Lobuche will make your jaw drop. Lock eyes with Mount Everest (8,848 meters), Lhotse (8,516 meters), Nuptse (7,861 meters), Pumori (7,161 meters), and countless more pristine peaks. Before and after this incredible moment, there is much adventure to be had.

Fly to Lukla, the most treks in the region start. Check out the amazing view from the aeroplane and you fly in! Taking a day or two to reach Namche Bazaar, our bodies begin the acclimatization process. Stop in Namche Bazaar and experience the hustle of bustle of the mountainside town, which relies heavily on trade and tourism. Here, trekkers and mountaineers swap stories of their Everest treks and expeditions.

Follow the Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) route up to the tent settlement – mountaineers preparing for their summit attempt. Next stop: Kala Patthar (5545 meters). An astonishing view of dozens of peaks awaits you, including a close-up one of Mount Everest.

Continue to Lobuche Peak Base Camp and spend the night in a tent. The slow ascent helps us acclimatize and prevent us from suffering from the number one reason for failed summits – altitude sickness. Then, we move to High Camp (5,200 meters), which lies near a ridgeline with an expansive view of the Khumbu Glacier. We brief on the ascent procedure and double-check that all the gear is ready to go.If the weather is suitable, we push to the summit in the middle of the night. Steadily make the exhausting climb. The challenge is rewarded with a show-stopping panorama of Mount EverestLhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and much more. It is the ultimate Everest region view. In all directions, you see the rugged, heavenly mountain environment. From here, we enjoy the descent back to Lukla. Time to celebrate our successful climb! The Lobuche Peak Climbing itinerary has been designed by expert climbers to maximize acclimatization periods and prevent altitude sickness. We strive to do everything to allow you to have a successful ascent. If you would like to extend the journey for a trip to Gokyo Lakes or Everest Base Camp, let us know! We can manage the itinerary and costs accordingly. Also, novice and expert climbers alike can take part in Lobuche Peak Climbing. There is no better place to begin your climbing career than next to Mount Everest!Climb Lobuche Peak any time of the year. The best times to make the trip, though, are during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. These seasons provide the best weather and clearest skies. It is possible to climb in the winter, though the snow can pose additional challenges. Third Eye Adventure Pvt. Ltd. handles the trek with complete management. Used Pasang as one of our guides and Sherpas for our trip and successful ascent of Lobuche Peak East in the Himalayas. Pasang was always helpful in every way, polite, professional and very competent, especially on summit day which was extremely demanding on the whole team.
Thoroughly recommend Pasang as a guide and Sherpa.
Thankyou again Pasang and Third Eye Adventure!

Was on the Lobuche peak trip in March 2023 with Third Eye Adventure. Our guide was Pasang Sherpa and porter was Mingma. Had an amazing time from start to finish. I was nervous on how our guide would be after having a less then perfect guide on a past mountaineering trip . But Pasang was a truly a top notch mountain guide – always very safe, great communicator and English, super motivated and never gives up, strong technical climbing knowledge, and overall great and fun guy to be around. Highly recommend third Eye Adventure for peak climbing trips and in particular Pasang as a guide.
