Himlung Himal (7126m) lies between Nepal and Tibet border in the north side and the Manaslu and Annapurna grandly stands above the Tibetan community of Phu in the west region of Nepal. The region has been opened only in 2001 by the government of Nepal and from the time few expedition trips has been arranged in this region.
Himlung Expedition starts after driving from Kathmandu to Besisahar taking around 6 hours, and after that we will walk via the Annapurna circuit path till Koto. Then, we will walk to the west to reach Dharmasala, followed by to Tibetan villages such as- Meta, Phugaon, Kyang etc and have local exploration. We will set up our Base Camp at an altitude of 4842m on a lush ground. Normally we will set three high camps before reaching the summit. We will put on Camp I at the altitude of 5,450m. Then Camp II at an elevation of 6,000m and the Camp 3 at the height of 6,350m. Besides, our Sherpas guides will help us set up a range of camps for well acclimatization and we endeavor to Summate Himlung Himal on a favorable day.
Himlung Expedition with Third Eye Adventure will offer you a chance to walk through remote villages of Nepal and Tibet border. Also, the route passes through high peaks, passes, narrow gullies, glaciers, forests, springs, rocks, Gompas as well as unique cultural settlements. You will get to see awesome mountain views of Nandadevi, Api Himal, Rajramba, Kappa Chuli Peak and several more.
